This was excellent piece! Question for you! How much longer and costly do you think it is building that playbook for the elastic customer? Specifically implementing trust recapture mechanisms

Not much has to change....same resources are just applied differently. Check out the article on distribution equity called "Beyond the Billboard". If you're conscious that you need distribution equity alongside brand equity then you're ready for an elastic customer.

This is a really great piece. Once you see the argument you can’t unsee it. I can imagine how frustrating this must be for entrepreneurs in a market like Nigeria but you have to optimise for the market you have not the one you want.

And building for a cyclical model of customer acquisition is the only choice you have. To paraphrase that famous movie quote - Always Be Acquiring!

I found this article to be insightful and relevant. As someone working for a multinational Big Tech company, managing businesses in emerging markets, I've encountered challenges in understanding why customers who initially showed strong interest in our solutions are not progressing at the expected pace. This piece provides clarity on this behavior and offers valuable strategies for operating in emerging markets, helping to mitigate potential issues.

Regarding the payment process, I would appreciate it if you could offer alternative payment options, such as paying with my account or in local currency (Naira). The current requirement for dollar payments may be a limitation for many users, and exploring more flexible payment options could enhance accessibility and user experience.
